Committee on Cultural Diplomacy

The mission of the St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs is to enrich the lives of the citizens of St. Tammany Parish past nurturing, sustaining, and enhancing the arts.

The St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs has many programs and initiatives available to assist arts organizations and not-profit agencies presenting arts programs, and then as to foster development of the arts in St. Tammany Parish. We offer programs and initiatives in grants, public art, arts marketing, leadership and organization development, cultural programs, cultural planning and technical assistance.

LOUISIANA Projection GRANTS

Louisiana Project Grants (LPG) fund project assistance for community-based arts projects that accept meaningful community involvement and collaboration with diversity, equity, and inclusion as a priority. Formerly the Decentralized Arts Fund (DAF), these grants seek to support inventiveness and innovation throughout Region 9 which consists of St. Tammany and St. Bernard Parish.

Ozone Music Education Foundation - Ozone Songwriter Festival on the Northshore

St. Tammany Fine art Association - Project Art Camp Scholarship

Applications are accepetd annually for projects taking place between October 1st and September 30th.

Brand a donation to Creative Relief Northshore to help the artists and arts and culutral oragnizations in their recovery. Through Creative Relief, the Committee on Cultural Diplomacy will identify artists and arts organizations who have lost or incurred damage as a result of a disaster or emergency. Financial contributions to this attempt will provide artists and arts organizations with immediate assistance in their time of need.

The St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs is an agency of the St. Tammany Parish Department of Civilisation, Recreation and Tourism and is supported by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Part of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Quango. Funding has also been provided past the National Endowment for the Arts, Art Works.
